Hello All!! I have had such a busy week. Thanks again to every one that has sent me Emails. J I just can not get over how beautiful the fall colors are this year. The state that looks like a mitten surely is beautiful place. Over this past weekend I had the chance to get some pumpkins for Halloween. I love to decorate for all the seasons. I have to admit I love the fall. My house is filled with multi-colored leaves, pumpkins and black cats. Like Christmas I like to do Halloween up grand. I think I have everything that need for my costume for this year. I have a few parties to go to that I am looking forward to them. I have decided to be witch this year. I am actually related to someone that was accused of being a witch. Her name was Elizabeth Winthrop. She married John Winthrop’s son Henry. She was also was John Winthrop’s Niece. John Winthrop was the first governor of Massachusetts he was also a puritan. She was accused of being a witch because she was an herbalist. If you are interested on learning more about Elizabeth Winthrop here are some books about this fascinating woman. The first book was written by Anya Seton, The Winthrop Women, The 2nd book was written by Francis J. Bremer, America’s Forgotten Founding Father.
