The old Orchard was inspired by a home that my parents looked buying in Long Island NY 30 years ago. The home was built in the 1600 and my Mom has told me she believes that the home was haunted. The old Salt box sits on the stony shores of Long Island, NY. The home had been ran sacked many times by pirates. These pirates killed the families that occupied the home and stole their valuables. After so many tragedy’s people did not want to live their anymore. The old Orchard in my book has the same history has the home I almost grew up in. ^_“
